Some Issues On The Urban Geography Of Xinan County In Guangdong During Ming And Qing Dynasties

Shenzhen,has strategic location and rich salt.In Wanli Ming Shenzong first year, Guangzhou government cut some land of Dongguan to establish Xinan country, that gave the development of Shenzhen in Ming and Qing dynasty a new vigor. This paper attempts to discuss the establishion, urban spatial structure system and function of Xinan from the view of historical geography.From that, I want to make up for the research limitations of Xinan in Ming and Qing dynasty,and give some reference to urban construction and development of Shenzhen.The body consists of four parts:The first part Simply introducts the natural and humanistic environment of Xinan county, the political organization before Xinan county's establishion, that will give us some convenience to study the establishion, urban function of Xinan.The second part is the innovation point of all.From critically analysising four versions of what time Xinan had been build. refering to the yiwenzhi's information of Xinan's county annals, this article proves that the view of Wanli Ming Shenzong first year is right. Superior natural environment, riching salt, attacking from interior and exterior, and Xinyou coup all contribute to the bilding of Xinan county.After Wanli Ming Shenzong first year,Xinan experienced a tortuous course of administrative belonging.The third part Mainly researches the external morphology and internal spatial structure of Xinan in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The former makes an analysis of morphological evolution of Xinan's characteristics and causes, by studying the outside city street construction and expansion of Xinan county.The latter mainly research the internal spatial structure of Xinan county from the political and religious, cultural,educational, commercial and economic space of four parts. Moreover, research its c characteristics of such a layout.The fourth part:Combining with the couses, conditions, city administrative agencies settings of Xinan country, I blieve that Xinan country showed a major political and military function when it has been built, but With the development of economy, Xinan country's city function shows multi-function superposition characteristic of politics, economy and military.
