The Study On The Differences Of Parataxis In Artistic Style And Political Comment Style

By the methods of investigation statistic and analyzing language materials, this paper describes the differences of the parataxis in artistic style and political comment style, and make explanations from the type of contexts-style functions-language presentations.This paper analyzes the features of the parataxis, establishes the investigative items of parataxis. By seeing the items of the parataxis-component form aspects and the parataxis-module function aspects in 660,000 word language materials, this paper finds out the differences of parataxis between two kinds of style, and describes the differences in detail.In political comment style, parataxis is used to evaluate, argue and list, illuminate; however in artistic style parataxis is used to describe images and express one's emotion. These form and semantic differences between these two styles are the result of adapting the functional differences in artistic style and political comment style.
