As the original view and the profound philosophical connotations of the work, Lv Huiqing's " Zhuangzi Yi " has great influence in history. The compiler of "Si Ku Quan Shu" appraised it that it's so well that it couldn't be write by Lin Xiyi, which means that it's better than Lin Xiyi's "Zhuangzi Kou Yi". Also Zhu Xi said that Lv Jifu made an accurate annotate of "Zhuangzi" where he couldn't understand well with Guo Xiang's annotate. In the paper " Jin Zhuangzi Yi Biao ", Lv Huiqing explained that the motivation for "Zhuangzi Yi" is the desire to represent the way of Internal Saint & External King and the profound philosophical connotations of "Zhuangzi" so that the emperor Shenzong could read it in the mid-night. As the higher theoretical level and the feasibility of the political theory "To Govern by Doing Nothing Goes Against Nature" of the Taoist, Lv Huiqing believed it could be used as an useful addition to the way of governing the country of the Confucianism. He attempted to transform the image of Confucius as the way to integrate the thought of Zhuangzi with the progressive society of Confucian, and then achieves the "Internal Saint & External King" goal.At the same time, Lv Huiqing made an in-depth exploration of the profound philosophical connotations with Tao since he believe that no one knows the real meaning of Zhuangzi. From the perspective of the unity of Confucianism and Taoism, he reconcile the conflicting views in "Zhuangzi" and treated it as an organic whole. When annotating the "Zhuangzi", Lv Huiqing established a mutual commenting structure with the Nei Pian as the key since he thought Nei Pian is the most important.Lv Huiqing's " Zhuangzi Yi " has original view and it approachs the real meaning of Zhuangzi better than others some times though it shows the features of Confucianism in some way. It promoted the development of the research of Zhuangzi and was respected by scholars for future generations.
