An Analysis On The Development Of Vocational Education On Rear Area During The Anti-Japanese War

After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War in an all-round way, in order to meet its demand of various technical talents, the national government and all sectors of society on rear area has been vigorously promoting the development of vocational education. It has enjoyed rapid development in adversity, which has made tremendous historic contributions to the final victory of the Anti-Japanese War. Carding the development of vocational education on rear area during the period of Anti-Japanese War and summing up its historical experiences, which not only enrich the history of Chinese modern vocational education research, but also provide historical experience and enlightenment for the current reform and development of vocational education in China.The thesis is divided into five parts:The introduction explains the significance of this paper, defines the relevant concepts, and states the present situation of the problem and research method.The first part of this article's body mainly introduces general principles of vocational education in wartime, and a series of specific policies and measures for the vocational education development adopted by the National Government on rear area.The second part, taking Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou provinces as the center, states the elementary, secondary and higher vocational education development from its scale on rear area during the period of the War of Resistance against Japan.The third part illustrates curriculum, teaching and management of vocational education on rear area during the period of the War of Resistance against Japan, from such aspects as curriculum and textbooks, administrative organizations and funds for equipment, training of teachers and education, enrollment and employment.The last part makes a historical assessment and enlightenment of vocational education's development on the rear area in Anti-Japan War. Its effect manifests that it has trained a large number of practical talents, pushed forward rationalization of the structure of vocational education system, and to a certain extent, changed our country's traditional concept of despising vocational education. Owing to the history limit, it faces a series of problems and difficulties caused by the shortage of funds. Nevertheless, there are many experiences and enlightening significance on the vocational education's development in modern China.
