Research On The Emotional Imagery Of The Alexithymia

Objective:Find a method to make a approximately real situation in which subjects can feel, express their emotion. Method:27 alexithymics and 27 non-alexithymics were screened out in university students. They were required to imagery emotional situation under the director'instruction. Examine if their imageries are different between the alexithymics and non-alexithymics. Through the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, examine the results of both of the groups, and compare with their imageries. Result:There is no clear difference in the imageries of the high group and the low group——flowing, the hot color, heavy and hot. The imagery appear specialty different location. In the trend of the change in the imagery, the high group's emotion is strengthen, and the low group's emotion is weaken. The high group deals with anger through suppression and rumination.
