Emotion regulation processes contain both conscious ingredients and the composition of the unconscious. Previous studies have overemphasized explicit implicit emotion regulation while ignoring implicit emotional regulation. Some recent studies are paying attention to implicit emotion regulation process which mainly can be divided into the implicit representation of emotion regulation and automatic emotion regulation behavior triggered by unconscious goals. The study examined that two types of behavior implicit emotion regulation including implicit attitudes of emotion regulation and automatically emotional regulation behaviors affected emotion reaction for university students. The research is beneficial for college students to deal with anxiety effectively and the research contained two sections. In study1, we divided30university students into two groups by finishing sentence unscrambling task. The results showed that:in the context of negative mood induction (anxiety condition), relative to the university students who were not trigged by the goal of emotion regulation, The Increasing value of the skin electricity and decreasing value of the finger skin of the university students who were trigged by the goal of emotion regulation are more. Projected score relative to the picture standard parameters is more significant, which means that students who are triggered by Emotion regulation goal did not show a relatively more adaptive physiological activation patternsIn study2, we chosen2types of students (each30students)who have different emotion regulation implicit attitude by the Implicit Association Test (ER-IAT) distinguish two of the students were tested each30. We examine both of them impact on emotional reactions by finishing sentence unscrambling task to prime emotion regulation goals in the context of negative mood induction (anxiety condition). The result showed in the terms of skin electricity, the skin temperature and projected assessment, the main effect of the type of emotion regulation implicit attitude is significant. The main effect of unconscious emotion regulation goals and interactions between implicit attitudes and unconscious emotion regulation goals are not significant. The result shows that the increasing value of the skin electricity and decreasing value of the finger skin of the students who have positive emotional regulation implicit attitude(control emotion regulation implicit attitude of the individual) are higher than those of the students who have negative emotion regulation implicit attitude (expressive emotion regulation implicit attitude of the individual). Projected score of relative to the picture standard parameters of the students who have positive emotional regulation implicit attitude is more significant, which means that students who have positive emotional regulation implicit attitude did not show a relatively more adaptive physiological activation patterns. No matter whether Emotion regulation goals are triggered or not, emotion reactions of students who have positive emotional regulation implicit attitude are more intense than students who have negative emotional regulation implicit attitude. The increasing value of the skin electricity and decreasing value of the finger skin of the students who have positive emotional regulation implicit attitude(control emotion regulation implicit attitude of the individual) are higher than those of the students who have negative emotion regulation implicit attitude (expressive emotion regulation implicit attitude of the individual) Projected score of relative to the picture standard parameters of the students who have positive emotional regulation implicit attitude is more significant indicating that students who have implicit control attitudes adopted unconsciously emotion suppression regulation strategy. However, the effects are opposite to the original motivation when using this strategy. This study further confirmed the existence of a rebound effect raised by Daniel Wagner indicating the use of implicit emotional suppression strategy can not effectively regulate mood.
