In the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the synonymous conjunction is said to be the focus and one of the most difficult parts. When foreign students have accumulated a number of Chinese words, teachers are inclined to use learnt synonymous words to explain new words. In a certain way, students can figure out the meaning of new words, but actually, the minus difference in semantics, grammar and pragmatics has become the hardship of them in getting new knowledge. This paper has chosen two pairs of synonymous conjunctions that have been used in a high frequency by foreign students and targeted the errors made from Beijing Language University's HSK language database. On the basis of absorbing some other scholars' research results on domain ontology, this paper tries to analyze synonymous conjunctions of "Yin Er" "Cong Er" and "Zhi Yao" "Zhi You" in semantics and grammar and make a more considerate analysis in grammar in order to reduce the frequency of errors in the process of communication and to improve the efficiency of teaching and learning.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part talks from the reason for choosing the topic, research situation, theory involved and research language source.The second part is to introduce the research results made by scholars in following aspects; they are the definition of synonymous conjunction, the discussion about syntactical functions and morphological features of synonymous conjunction and the ways for recognizing synonymous conjunction.The third part and the fourth part is the core of the thesis. In the third part the comparison of "Yin Er" and "Cong Er" is analyzed from semantics and grammar. Through the serious research about the error types made by foreign students, I get a conclusion that it is more difficult for foreign students to learn "Cong Er" than "Yin Er".The fourth part also the last part focuses on the comparison of ""Zhi Yao" and "Zhi You", paying more attention on their grammar. After the research, it is turned out that foreign students often feel confused at the two words and fail to decide which word is suitable in their practice.
