| Since the birth of photography in 1839,photography was defined as a technology just for recording images, without any artistically status. in 1902,as Alfred. Stieglitz, the representative man of Photo-Secession, changed from Pictorials to Straight photography, photography classified as a real art.With the development society and improvement of science,as a kind of art,photography went through, traditional photography,modern photography and post-modernism photography, three stages, post-modernism photography has features like anti-culture,anti-Aesthetic.Basically reflect in the following respects:1 oppose to the art hegemonies 2 post-modernism art and art theory oppose the traditional concept of beauty, aestheticism.3 post-modernism artists use many weird things to analogy the emotion and ideal.4 treating ugliness as beauty, treating beauty as ugliness, change beauty into ugliness.5 broke the definition of photography and other kinds of arts, mix the things artists needed together.we call the features of anti-culture, anti-Aesthetic indeterminacy, anti centralized truth ,Deconstruction essentialism, from view of post-modernism art philosophy. Using ways like Fuse deconstruction and symbolism, anti-rational collage, parody to practice post-modernism photography.This paper analyze the definition of photography's article and technological status, the rational ship of modernism photography and post-modernism photography, the differences of traditional photography arts and modernism,post-modernism photography arts, then,we can see clearly the post-modernism trend of 20th photography arts. The features, anti-culture and anti-arts, and philosophy spirits of post-modernism photography are key points of this paper. we can only see clearly the philosophy ideals of post-modernism photography as we understand them completely. |
