The Study On The Existing Problems And Solutions For The "Mongolian Grammatical Information Dictionary"

The Mongolian grammatical information dictionary is a machine dictionary, which is compiled for automatic analysis and automatic generation of Mongolian words and sentences. It includes the information of the common used words of modern Mongolian, such as their morphology, syntactic function, collocation characteristic and orthography rules and so on. So that offers the Mongolian grammatical information for all kinds of applications more comprehensively and substantially.The work of compiling the Mongolian grammatical information dictionary has taken more than a decade since 2000. Even though the work has accomplished generally, in the process of managing and applying this dictionary, we found that there also exist many question that have to solve.In order to further improve the Mongolian grammatical information dictionary and raise its functions of application, utilization, and management, based on computational linguistics theories method and exhausting method, this article makes a list of existing problems of the Mongolian grammatical information dictionary, and then classifies these problems and explores the solutions.The structure and the content of this article is as follows:In the introduction, it mainly introduces the purpose of the content choice and its signification, previous studies which are made, the method used in this article and the scope of the material choice.The chapter one introduces the general base and classification base of the Mongolian grammatical information dictionary and the program of management,, and then assesses actual situation of them carefully.The chapter two analyzes the existing problems of the Mongolian grammatical information dictionary and divided them into the important problems, and unimportant problems, then proposed several solutions.The conclusion sums up the content of this article, and then suggests the work had to do continuously.
