The Influence Of The Art Of Modern Calligraphy On Graphic Design

In this thesis, we discuss the information delivery and principles of modern calligraphic art, by a general statement of modern art of calligraphy, and the effects it exerts in graphic design. Modern art of calligraphy brings more vigor and vitality to our country's graphic design due to its potential and wide development in graphic design.With the development of society, the tendency of visual elements localism is becoming increasingly popular. As we all know, calligraphy is a kind of symbolic art , which is the most representative art in Chinese traditional art and culture , and it is a better visual element to demonstrate the image of local culture. Currently, we need a reconfiguration for this kind of symbolic art in order to meet the need of modern design and the appreciation of the beauty for the people, then we create modern calligraphic art, which is a form of visual delivery and makes a new annotation for the configuration of calligraphy, from the view of modern design, by using traditional calligraphy materials and language.
