The Creative Research Of Traditional Calligraphy Elements In Modern Graphic Application Design

Traditional calligraphy which is an important component of traditional Chinese culture is an important carrier of Chinese national culture and it can be called the quintessence of Chinese culture. How to carry forward the traditional calligraphy is not only the internal need of its development but also the objective need of modern economic development of China. Combing traditional calligraphy and graphic design actively and skillfully has an important practical significance to the revitalization of the national economy and the promotion of modernization construction. According to this perspective, this thesis focuses on the innovation research of the traditional calligraphy elements in the graphic design and makes a detailed elaboration from seven aspects. Traditional calligraphy elements are important means of carrying forward the traditional culture by applying to modern graphic design both directly and indirectly.Chapter four is the discussion of the application methods and its innovative forms. The aim is to make the modern graphic design manifest the Chinese traditional culture and show its special charm.Chapter five is the combination of calligraphy and graphic design. It is the only road to make the Chinese graphic design rank top of the whole world.The conclusion proposes the purpose and significance of applying traditional calligraphy to graphic design and aims to inspire the Chinese graphic designer so that the Chinese traditional culture can be understood and applied to create better works.
