The Application Of Fuzaocun In Contemporary Figure Painting Of Liberal Style

The thesis focus on how to apply the way of fuzaocun to the figure painting of liberal style reasonably and try to provide wide space for this kind of drawing and then strengthen the modern factors of it so that the manifestation of the new skill characteristic of modern the figure painting of liberal style could be found. In fact the way of fuzaocun in traditional Chinese painting cannot used for landscape painting but the figure drawing, and the facts demonstrate that it can exert great effect the figure painting of liberal style if it can be used organically.The existing historical materials show us that the application of fuzaocun can be rooted to the great painter Wu Daozi of TANG dynasty, and then many figure painter of various styles in different times bring the painting way of fuzaocun to figure drawing to different extent. But this kind of application just take the simple example from the painting way of landscape and did not shape the systematically and consciously subjective pursuit yet. Nevertheless, it did promote the growth of ancient the figure painting of liberal style. As the west culture enter china gradually since the late Qing dynasty, the art of traditional Chinese painting was influenced by the exotic culture in varying degrees and under this kind of historical background, as the one of the traditional Chinese painting skills, fuzaocun became the bridge between the Chinese and foreign painting.On the basis of inheriting tradition, the contemporary artists have been absorbing the idea of creation from other school of arts broadly and innovating actively. Fuzaocun, as the outbreak of this innovation, play an innegligible and irreplaceable role in promoting the development and innovation of contemporary the figure painting of liberal style and forming the unique appearance of it.This essay mainly elaborates on the ways and methods of the application of fuzaocun and its practical significance layer upon layer with the documentation method, historical approach and case study through the analysis of the application of the fuzaocun in history and at present. The author provide a systematic theory for the use of fuzaocun and create a new situation in modern figure drawing the figure painting of liberal style.In this thesis the author comb the melting process between fuzaocun and the the figure painting of liberal style, focusing on modern time and try to find an innovative pattern of the figure painting of liberal style and find a new way for the works meeting the requirement of the times.The thesis was written as a narrative interspersed with comments inclusive of 4 chapters, more than 30000 characters.The first chapter'title is definition of fuzaocun and mainly introduces the historical definition, classification and ethic implication of fuzaocun and The modern re-definition of fuzaocun.The second chapter's title is the use of fuzapcun in the traditional figure painting, in which the historic relation between the fuzaocun and the painting way of EIGHTEEN DEPICTIONS is summarized and combed. This chapter also analyzes the representative painter and their works.The third chapter's title is the cause of the use of fuzaocun in contemporary figure painting in liberal style painting. In this chapter the author presents the use of fuzaocun in figure painting of liberal style from the compatibility of chinese painting thought, the change of Modeling Concept and chinese artist'innovation.The last chapter'title is the use of fuzaocun in figure painting of liberal style in modern times. It discusses the skill of fuzaocun in figure painting of liberal style and then show us how the artists use the skills as their unique art language and how they pave the new way for the figure painting of liberal style through the analysis of Jiang Zhaohe, Zhou Sicong, and Li Boan'painting.
