A Discussion On The Characteristic Of Nanchang Dialect

Nanchang dialect is a branch of the Gan dialect and as well as the represention of it. It has an integrate system of the voice, vocabulary and the grammar of the ancient language system because of its special location, and most of them is now seems rarely seen or lost in Putonghua. The research on the Nanchang dialect is a meaningful movement not only for the searching the history and acknowledging the current situation of Gan dialect, but also for the study and the understanding of the Putonghua.However, it is a time that the Putonghua is received by a wide range of the population, which leads to the going down and even the disappearing of the dialect. Nanchang dialect is protected by its special location, though, it is being neglected by the people in a very long period of time.Secondly, although the research of the dialect is now becoming hotter and hotter of the ligusitc, because of the reason that mentioned above, the research and handling of Nanchang dialect is not so popular as the Yue, Wu and Shu dialects.It is now scattered situation and difficult in finding the regularity of the language system, which leads to a even greater obstruction to make effort on studying on it.My thesis aims on the analyzing of the cause and the situation of the Nanchang dialect, and help to get the deeper understanding of the voice, the vocabulary and the grammar through the comparing between the Nanchang dialect and the other Gan dialects or the Putonhua. It will help us to master the nowaday status and function of Nanchang dialect and deepen recognization of all the aspects of our language.
