A Research On Nanbu Dialect In Sichuan Province

This thesis takes dialect of Nanbu county in sichuan as the research object.On the basis of field investigation,it describes the new and old phonetic systems in Nanbu county and analyzes the differences between them and explains the reasons.And it makes a description,comparison and analysis with dialect of Nanbu county from the synchronic level and the diachronic level.In addition,this thesis discusses the lexis and syntax of Nanbu dialect.The thesis is divided into five parts.Introduction.Tise thesis mainly introduces the research status of dialect in Nanbu county,the research methods and purposes,corpus sources and pronunciation partners,etc.Chapter one is the pronunciation of Nanbu county dialect.This chapter gives a detailed description of the phonetics of the old and new generations respectively.By comparing the differences between them,it analyzes that the main reason for the differences are the influence of mandarin and the internal mechanism of the language system.In addition,this chapter also summarizes the law of continuous tone sandhi and the affixing of "er" in Nanbu dialect.There is convergence in the mode of continuous tone of dialect in nanbu county.There are two kinds of "er" affixing pronunciation,which is the "er" end sound and the "er" sound.Chapter two is Nanbu county dialect vocabulary.By comparing the dialect words of Nanbu county with those of mandarin from three aspects: the characteristics of word formation,the meaning of words and the rationale for word formation,this chapter finds that the choice of morphemes,the number of syllables and the range of meanings of dialect words in Nanbu county are different from those in mandarin.At the same time,this chapter records the dialect characteristic words of Nanbu county and interpretes them.These characteristic words not only reflect the cultural characteristics of the local dialect,but also reflect the mutual influence between dialects.Chapter three is the grammar of Nanbu county dialect.This chapter compares the dialect of Nanbu county with mandarin at lexical level and syntactic level.In the aspect of morphology,the overlapping forms and affixes of Nanbu county dialect are expounded.The form and use range of affix in Nanbu county dialect are different from those in mandarin.The overlapping form is mainly focused on the nouns,and adjectives and quantifiers are also included in it,but it contains no verbs in mandarin which express the meaning of “trying”.In terms of syntax,this chapter discusses sentence patterns that are slightly different between Nanbu dialect and mandarin,including existential sentences,questions and passive sentences.Conclusion.Summarizing the full text.Appendix i.The contrast table of the sound of the words of the new and old in Nanbu county.Appendix ii.The vocabulary of Nanbu county dialect.
