| Since 1950s,the research about active voice sentence with "you" have been noticed in Chinese academic circles. For about 50 years, it is yet to be improved on the research of the verbs in.active voice sentence with "you". We apply syntactic semantic theory to describe, analyze and research the verbs in active voice sentence with "you"There are 5 chapters in this article. Chapter One is Introduction and Chapter Five is Conclusion. From Chapter Two to Chapter Three is the main section.Chapter Two focuses on the architectural features and semantic features of verbs in active voice sentence with "you". Compound verbs are the main part of the verbs in active voice sentence with "you", and the percent of VO verbs is higher than that of VC verbs. Multivalence, action, persistence, initiative, reference of human and melioration are included in the semantic features of verbs in active voice sentence with "you"Chapter Three selects two main kinds of active voice sentence with "you" according to the predicate form:the light pestle verb form and the verb with object form, and discusses the architectural features and semantic features of verbs in these two forms. VO verbs only can be used in the light pestle verb form, and most of VC verbs can be used in the verb with object form. The quasi guest one valence verbs, some of the quasi bivalent verbs and VO bivalent intransitive verbs can be used in the in the light pestle verb form.Chapter Four summaries the selections and restrictions of verbs in active voice sentence with "you". Judging from the structure form, most of the light pestle verb form sentences are Pattern One of the active voice sentence with "you", while most of he verb with object form sentences are Pattern Two. And Pattern One selects more VO verbs, while Pattern Two selects more VC verbs. Judging from the semantic features, the semantic features of active voice sentence with "you", such as reference of human, timeliness and directivity, restricts the verbs.
