With the industrial society and market economy is growing, a variety of goods has become rich, disposable income is increased, greatly promote the consumption cultural development. Because of the expansion of consumption factors, urge on female clothing consumption and development of female clothing design in the present. In the relative surplus of commodities, the consumption enthusiasm of the rising of the environment, female clothing design expresses the phenomena life the show off and luxury, impact on the style of the traditional aesthetic. This paper will be established in the back ground of the consumption culture, toward the modern female clothing design for multiple styles to the many aspect of analysis. This situation is concerned, and if not rationally recognizing it, it will be harmful for the development of the female clothing design. First, analysis of the consumption culture of development process and its impact on modern female clothing design; On this basis, the emphasis on consumption culture under the influence of modern female clothing design embody in style features, to have the analysis in the culture and sociology consumption aspect; Further contact the consumption culture in the "symbol "theory and anatomize modern female clothing as it the "symbol" image of expression, and explain design style and aesthetic character; Finally have educed the acknowledgement for the development of modern female clothing design:under the stimulus of the complicated and numerous consumption culture phenomena, designer and consumers will need to keep the clear and calm mind, and rationally face to the female clothing industry status, good judgment fashion trend, cultural and social values are complementary to advance female clothing design the sustainable development. Besides, as Chinese female clothing designers, should be striving for China's national conditions and recognizing that area difference, in considering the consumption factors at the same time, we should make full use of the traditional cultural essence, artistic value and commercial value of the perfect combination, and out of a Chinese characteristic of the road, which participates in international exchanges and competition.
