Thinking is a series of human ability to understand things, it follows a certain order, manner, we call it the way of thinking which affects language acquisition. The cultivation of thinking will help the student improve the efficiency of language acquisition. Each national language contains a unique national language feature of thinking. It has great impact to learn the national language when strengthen the understanding of national way of thinking, and gradually establish a system of the national way of thinking. Because the language is the carrier of thinking, the cultivation of thinking needs to teach the language elements first.There is a great different between the Chinese and English thinking. Especially the Chinese thinking emphasize the perception, the subject, the Integrity and the imagination. During teaching the American students Chinese, the Chinese teacher found same mistakes related to the ways of Chinese thinking. Many American students make mistakes on the vocabulary, grammar and chapter which have great relationship with the Chinese thinking ways. All these errors explain that most American students in the class do not really know the Chinese thinking ways. To cultivate student's Chinese thinking ways, the Chinese teacher should help the students to establish the right concepts on these three parts. During teaching the vocabulary, the Chinese teacher should avoid using the simple translation to teach vocabulary. Explain and practice the compound words, synonyms and measure words which reflect the Chinese thinking ways many times. Use the tables to promote the students connecting level in order to establish the Chinese vocabulary system. When teaching the grammar, the Chinese teacher should combine the specific contexts and explain the Chinese function words and Chinese order in details. Beside the word and grammar teaching, to help the students to express the Chinese fluently, the Chinese teacher should teach the students the knowledge of the chapter, using diverse forms to promote the American students ways of Chinese thinking.Mind map method and think aloud method are two useful methods in helping learners remember and study Chinese. The first one, mind mapping method can help students'associate, make students'memory more solid. Using pictures, symbols combination way not only increase the American students'interest of learning Chinese, but also to enhance their learning enthusiastic. The second one, thinking aloud method is closely integrated thinking and speaking. This method is often used in writing teaching. Thinking aloud method followed "demonstrate oneself-education-imitation-learning-innovation" mode of learning, conform to the student's study cognitive habits, repeatedly using recorded thinking method on practice, can promote American students to establish the habit Chinese way of thinking.
