On Teaching Mode Of Art Designing And Cultivation Of Creative Thinking

This dissertation analyzes our country's current situation in art designing education;offers the author's unique understanding of the current poor quality in its development;and puts forward how to build a new quality assessment system of art designing and set up a new concept of art designing education. In researching the cultural function of design education, the dissertation advances the necessity of transformation of teaching style. While it also explores a new teaching mode in art designing and states its views as follows: Firstly, it analyzes the developing course of foreign modern designing education, and emphasizes the importance of elicitation method of teaching, cooperative -learning method , open teaching method in modern designing education through some typical cases in colleges and universities;Secondly, through analyzing the educational diversity in China and the U.S.A., it points out our old education system has seriously hindered the cultivation of students' creative thinking;Thirdly, it reaffirms "subject education", and states the education of innovation is the key to the promotion of designers' designing qualification and ability, and it is also the key to excellent designing works;Fourthly, in the transformation of teaching mode, this dissertation explores "research teaching mode" and points out that we should organize our teaching in cooperative learning, encouraging students to be engaged in social practice and research work to enhance the combination of production, study and research. It concludes that designing colleges and universities should cooperate with enterprises,innovate their teaching style, strengthen knowledge regeneration of teachers' educational thoughts, mode, and teaching behavior to cultivate for students innovative ability.
