From the medieval allophones on behalf of qie-yun to the modern allophones on behalf of Zhongyuan Yinyun, the pattern of entering tone rhyme has experienced the changes from matching with Yangsheng Rhyme to both matching with Yangsheng Rhyme and Yinsheng Rhyme until to the entering tone rhyme setting into other three tones. The changes reflect on the dropping of the endings, the changes of the tone and the vowels. The article starts with the changes of vowel systems, observeing the position of entering tone rhymes through the investigations of the gathering and scattering of rhymes in Qie-yun, Rhyme figures and Zhongyuan Yinyun. We also settle the changing process of vowels belong with the changes of entering tone rhymes and revise some structure fittings which have done by other scholars.It is considered that the entering tone rhymes which firstly changed in the Rhyme figures are Geng-Zeng rime and Zhen rime. Their endings had changed to glottal plosives.
