MengGuZiYun,GuJinYunHuiJuYao and ZhongYuanYinYun are very important and valuable in the rhyme books of Yuan Dynasty even the whole history of rhyme books. They are of great significance for studying the changes of phonological features in Yuan Dynasty and before or after Yuan Dynasty. We make a detailed study on some related problems in these three rhyme books. On the basis of previous achievements of three rhyme books, this paper puts forward some explanations for some problems. This article is divided into five chapters to discuss the existing problems in the three rhyme books. The first chapter is the introduction, which is divided into four sections. We briefly introduce the background of the three rhyme books and their style of arrangement. What's more,it included the research status of each rhyme book and the significance and research methods of this thesis. The second chapter is the entering tone, which is divided into five sections.By using the characters of MengGuZiYun and GuJinYunHuiJuYao,we list the tables of entering tone in two books of rhyme respectively, and then, with the phonology of ZhongYuanYinYun and other documents,to observe the character of the end of the entering tone at that time.We believe that [-p][-t][-k] of the entering tone in the MengGuZiYun and GuJinYunHuiJuYao are mixed with each other, but they still retain the throat tail, which has tended to be weakened, and the entering tone shown in the book have not been reflected in the actual spoken language. It was not until the ZhongYuanYinYun that the actual voice of the Yuan Dynasty died out completely. The third chapter is consonant, which is divided into four sections. This is not a general study of the consonant system, but a detailed summary of the eight consonants, namely,Ying,Xiao,Xia,Yi,Yu,Yu,Yao and He,which are controversial in three rhyme books. On the whole,we think that MengGuZiYun and GuJinYunHuiJuYao show Yao and Ying,Xia and He,Yu and Yu represent XiYin and HongYin respectively.Secondly,Ying and Yao are Ying in the middle ancient. There is entanglement between Xia,He and Xiao.It shows that the letter of Xia begins to be devoiced.Yi contains the first and third Deng in ancient Chinese characters of Yi and part of characters of Yun which belonged to Yu,Yu contains the whole Yi,while Yucontains the other part of Yun.And in addition to retaining certain Yi and distinguishing some Yun from Yi in the ZhongYuanYinYun,Xiao,Xia and Ying and part of Yu and Yi became zero initials and merged with each other. The fourth chapter explains the abnormal arrangement of some characters in MengGuZiYun,which is divided into seven sections. The reasons for these problems are different, but the common ground is that the abnormal arrangement of rhymes contained in them is not universal, which to some extent shows the characteristics of Yuan sounds absorbed by MengGuZiYun in the process of compiling. The fifth chapter is the conclusion, which is divided into two parts. The first part is the conclusion of the article, the second part is the problems and shortcomings of this study. In addition, there is an appendix at the end of the article. The appendix is divided into two parts, one is that some mistakes founded by author in the arrangement of the words in the book GuJinYunHuiJuYao,and the other is the word list of GuJinYunHuiJuYao made by author. The study of several major problems in the three rhyme books is based on the phonological features shown in the book,so as to give some views on the nature of the entering tone and other consonants. On the other hand,it is expected to provide reference for the further research on the word list produced by GuJinYunHuiJuYao.
