The research about the relationship of the into north literati{which is a special literature creation group in the Northern and Southern Dynasties (A.D.420-589)} and the blend of the northern and southern writing style has gained a lot of attention from the academic circle recently. As the most important manifestation of the Southern Dynasty writing style, the Xiao Liang writers and their moving into the north is correspondingly a phenomenon that worth paying more attention. This paper attempts to illustrate it in five chapters with this very special writers group as its study object. The first chapter mainly will illustrate the relationship of the writer migration and the blend of the northern and southern writing style, mainly focusing on the impact the migration to the south activity made to the development of the southern economy and culture. Considering the development of the northern literature during the migration period, this chapter will also illustrate the changing process of how these two writing styles stood up to each other as an equal. The second chapter will explore how those into north literati came into being and their migration whereabouts from the perspective of literati migration, respectively analyzing the approaches and ways of how into north literati affected the blend of the two sides' culture based on the government recruitment and private migration activities. Chapter three puts its emphasis on collecting and sorting the materials of the Xiao Liang writers moving into the north, for those writers who still kept their literary works left; it will classify and analyze all of them, to present the group activities of this writer group clearly. With the previous chapter as its basis, in chapter four the author will choose Yu Xin as the representative of this writer group and make an individual analysis, detailedly analyzing how Yu remained and reformed southern writing style and accepted northern style. Finally chapter five will draw an objective conclusion of the contribution the Xiao Liang writers moving into the north to the blend of the northern and southern writing style based on the overall presentation and individual analysis. The author thinks the research on the activities of the Xiao Liang writers moving into the north can not only enable us to know the situation of the cultural communication of the north and south, but also allow us to see the process of the blend of the northern and southern writing style more clearly and profoundly.
