Broad meaning of idioms, concise, since ancient times has been an important part of the treasure house of language, in particular, the "number of X number of Y" idioms, idioms in their daily lives of such writers, in the conversation and are often used. The "number of X number of Y" idiom numerals, and human life are inseparable, not only that the number of numerals, the sequence of symbols, which means empty of meaning after the virtual variety, very deep cultural meaning.In this paper, the "number of X number of Y" idioms in Chinese and Vietnamese structure and diverse, with a deeper semantics, rich cultural connotations. The more languages in the very widely used.In this paper, the "number of X number of Y" idioms Chinese and Vietnamese from multi-angle were compared to study its form, structure and semantic characteristics, culture, and structure with a combination of numerals in the differentiation.
