With the development of modern tourism at a super and fast speed, the tourism products transform the sightseeing tourism to culture—experiencing tourism. There are a lot of cultural customs and original nature in ethnic tourism destinations. The customs and nature could become popular tourism products in the tourism market to attract tourists all over the world. For ethnic tourism destination, the ethnic culture is the main source of tourism products. The tourists, however, bring some advantages and disadvantages to the ethnic culture. Thus, the interaction between ethnic culture and tourism products comes in to being.The viewpoint in this paper is that there are some preconditions of the interaction between ethnic culture and tourism products, which take place by specific carrier. The results of the interaction are not only positive, but also negative. Some measures of coordinating and controlling could adopt the good points and avoid the shortcomings, and the benign interaction could come true. This paper bases on the case of the town of Langmusi, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, analyses the preconditions,process,problems and results, then induces the features of the interaction on time,place,process,ways and nature. After analyzing, the theme on interaction between ethnic culture and tourism products is abstracted to some theories with universal meanings. The studying indicates that there are some elements, which effects the interaction between ethnic culture and tourism products, make the interaction to be necessary and controllable. Otherwise, the disadvantages could be controlled effectively, and the advantages could produce the best possible results. The knowledge on anthropology and tourism science has been applied and the research methods, such as case study,analytic induction, have been used.The body of this paper consists of seven parts:introduction,literature review,correlation theory,case study,theory cognition,coordinate mechanism, and conclusion.The background,significances,methods and the train of thoughts are presented in part one; the content of part two is the literature review; the relevant theories are introduced in part three; in next part, the case study on the town of Langmusi is conducted; then, the paper sublimes the theory with universal meanings on the interaction between ethnic culture and tourism products. In the sixth one, the coordinating mechanism is established to achieve the goal of the benignant interaction between ethnic culture and tourism products. The last part is the conclusion.
