Preposition is kind of Chinese lexicon, enjoying relatively low quantity but high use frequency, which is a more complicated part of speech. Prepositions occupy great importance in Chinese learning. Errors of prepositions are common in second language acquisition. Mainly taking Level A&B prepositions as research object, with errors in corpus as carrier, This paper describes and preliminarily categorize target prepositions error phenomenon. The Full-text is divided into four chapters without introduction section.The first chapter makes an statistical analysis of target prepositions errors and get the data of errors of Level A&B prepositions respectively and prepositions classified by meaning. When calculation and comparison of data above is done. We draw a conclusion that the amount of error in level a preposition is larger than that in level B .The error frequency is balanced in level A while that of level B is relatively low ,also the error distribution is extremely uneven. According to classification by meaning of target prepositions, A large quantity of errors exist in object-content, spatio-temporal, reason-purpose prepositions other than any other prepositions.A comprehensive description and explanation of wrongly adding and omitting prepositions in output are given in chapter two. The errors are closely related with the position of predicate verbs and prepositional phrases in the sentence. Given the complexity of misusing preposition, chapter two is set as independent description part.Analysis of error types of highest frequency and most complexity are main focus of chapter three. The analysis of prepositions misuse is approximately divided into three aspects: one is the misuse between two prepositions, including misuse of semantic similarity and structure collocation, which is most commonly seen; the second is misuse between prepositions and other parts of speech which mainly refer to verbs and conjunction; the third part is to describe the other types of misuse which are consisted of errors caused by similar pronunciation and structure of prepositions.The fourth chapter mainly describes and analyzes errors in object prepositions. Object prepositions have higher use frequency and error frequency, which are certainly representative in error analysis. On the basis of description and analyze, some teaching suggestions are proposed in this chapter.
