Josephine Tey was one of the three top-grade female writers in the field of detective fiction,who was especially known as the Golden Age of British detective fiction in the 19th century.Her detective stories were very different compare with the traditional detective novels,which were emphasis on how to solve the case or the unexpected ending,but characterized by the use of "anti-reason"architecture and the strong sense of criticize about the society.This article starts with the core conceptions of reception aesthetics----the readers'acception,give a detailed analysis and focus on the receptions of readers about Tey's novels, which expected to explore the "Receptions of readers"for the value of important works, and how to apply the acceptance of reception aesthetics.The main viewpoints of this paper are:Firstly, the acceptance of work is a dynamic process of change,the outstanding works even do can promote readers' original look and bring them top taste.Secondly, general readers and professional readers promote and influence each other, the latter lead on the former to some extent.Thirdly,the acception of readers have great value for works, high-quality readers can not only to fill out and enrich the texts and can also inspire the writers to create better in turn,so it is necessary to give fully attention to the power of the readers.
