Research On Underground Transit Between Taihang And Ji-lu-yu Base During The Anti-Japanese War

The establishment of the underground transit during the Anti-Japanese War broke the Japanese's blockade , greatly shortened the traffic's journey , to ensure personnel , file information and materials exchanges between the eastern , central , Shandong , Ji-lu-yu anti-japanese base areas so far as to the Taihang base and Yenan . It made an indelible contribution for Anti-Japanese War insistence and final victory . Underground transit of anti-japanese base areas is an important part in Anti-Japanese War . So the research about underground transit is an integral part of Anti-Japanese War research . According to this subject , this paper simply serve as a catalyst and hope to do some contributions for the research of Anti-japanese history .This paper is on the basis of field investigation and archives collection , describe background , route profiles , transit maintenance , lines of communication activity of underground transit between Taihang Mountains area and Ji-lu-yu base . And analyse its function for Anti-japanese war , along with local forces'role in them . Then further explore: the time for five years , and more than 150 km in enemy-occupied areas , the main and root causes of underground transit never hit any errors , in the process of escorting tens of thousands of people , carrying a large number of munitions civil , reconnaissance intelligence , and transmiting a lot of newspapers, documents as well as information .
