Study On The Kernel Words In Qingtang's Zhuang Language

Zhuang language mainly is speaking in Guangxi province, China. But in Yao Autonomous County of Jianghua, Yongzhou city, Hunan province, where is a commone boundry between Hunan and Guangxi province, there is still a Zhuang people's town, which is surrounded by Yao language and then formed a"dialect island". The kind of dialect island's language represents a paticular type of language contact and change, through the research of it, by comparative perspective, could provide a view and different evidence for Zhuang language's change.The purpose of this paper is to make a comparative research between Qingtang's Zhuang and other Zhuang languages, such as Wuming's Zhuang language, Binyang's Zhuang language and Hezhou's Zhuang language, as well as with Seak language of Thailand, which is belonged to northern dialect. The thesis is based on Swadesh's core 100-word list , also extend this number to 310, and combine correlative materials ,and linguistic theories, to provide a broader perspective for the study of Zhuang's change, and verify what the Qingtang'Zhuang, as a dialect island'language,manifest, the character of path dependengce.
