Research On The Inheritance And Protection Of Folk Handicraft In The Context Of Urbanization

This paper briefly studies the inheritance and protection of MISU handicrafts in Wenzhou, focus on folk persons of the folklore subject and folk field as the folklore attribute. Based on the data of field work and the historical documents about MISU handicraft, it summarizes that the folk persons and folk field of MISU which is taken as the folk handicraft con-shared by folk in Wenzhou have changed greatly. And it will become a place of memory if MISU handicraft inherited its traditional way. And MISU handicraft will be inheritance from generation to generation when it makes an adaptive change within a certain range.The paper is divided into five parts:The first chapter is an introduction. This mainly discusses the reason of title selected. the current research situation of folk handicraft and MISU, research ways, the main purpose of the paper and the folk location of MISU handicraft in Wenzhou. The second chapter comprehensively analyses the original and the historical resource of MISU handicraft, the folk field and folk functions of MISU handicraft, and in the end of this part, introduce the procedures of MISU handicraft and the heritage crafts man of MISU handicraft.The third chapter focuses on the transformation of folk persons and folk field in the context of urbanization by the method of field work from the perspective of folk subject and folk field, and chooses four landmark districts as the cases. The folk and folk field has already changed, and the original environment of MISU handicraft has also changed;The fourth chapter is about the ways of inheritance and protection. MISU handicraft can be inherited and protected through refining handicraft in the context of urbanization. Folk changed and folk field developed which means the growth of new cultural ecology. Enhanced elegance is elite of inheritor and art of crafts enhanced elegance is an effective way to inherit and protect MISU handicraft in the process of urbanization in Wenzhou. This process is the inevitable development of history, and it is determined by the new cultural ecology.The last chapter is the paper's conclusion which hopes that folk handicrafts will be inherited and protected well through the effective ways in order to promote human's cultural identity and diversity.
