According to the musical instruments of archaeological excavations, Professor Houming Huang divided the prehistoric music culture area of our country into six regional zones——Central Plains District, Hai Dai District, Gansu and Qinghai District, Jianghan and adjacent District, the surrounding Taihu Lake District, Liao He District, et al.Based on this theory, this thesis made comments on the situation and content of the music and dance, considering the Gansu and Qinghai District as research areas, the typical academic disputed Neolithic Age music and dance materials including the ground painting of dadiwan, the dance patterns on the ShangSunJiazhai pottery basin, the Zongri "Two people lifting objects" pottery pots and Minhe Yangshan, Gansu Yongdeng Leshan Ping Pottery drums as the research objects. The ground painting of dadiwan is the earliest constructive drawings as it is knowed in the history. Many scholars made annotations to the meaning and function of the ground painting. The first chapter considered that the painting was a decorative painting which reflected the point of "seeking Feng Yu" of the patriarchal society, but had nothing to do with the witchcraft through analysis of the people above, the animals below andthe movements of the people left hand of the drawings. Based on the retrospective study of the ShangSunJiazai Dancing pottery pots research progress ,the second chapter compared it with the same archaeological cultural similar objects, it proved the object ascending obliquely from the hips of the dancers as penis. Compared with the rock art materials, it proved the "arms" of the outside dance team dancers as abstract symbols with omitted meanings; The "high yielded"witchcraft containing men or women as the main body not only had things in common but also had subtle differences.Since the discovery of the Zongri "two carrying objects" painted pottery basin, the academics had made three explanations——"public" Li saying, Hang Zhu wall saying and praying yielding withcraft saying. The third chapter considerd that the "two lifting objects "and" one holding objects "logo may display the scene of Majiayao cultural ancestors druming for happiness through the analysis of the formation of the unearthed Majiayao culture pottery drums on the basis of horizontal comparison between the Zongri "two carrying objects" painted pottery basin and "one holding objects" colored pottery logoes.Mr.Fang Jianjun made doubts on the definition of Minhe Yangshan, Gansu yongdeng leshanping and Shanxi Xiangfen Taosi archaeological sites unearthed "trumpet shaped pottery" as the "Tao drum " and put forwards four reasons in the "Tao Drum suspect" article published in 1989.The fourth chapter made comments on the suspected points raised by Mr Fang briefly on the basis of the previous chapter discussion.
