By using self-design"Psychological Stress Source Scale for High-level Athletes","Coping Styles of Common Stress Scale for High-level Athletes"and"Coping Styles of Idiographic Stress Scale for High-level Athletes", this thesis examined the characteristics of psychological stress and the features about coping styles of common stress for high-level athletes, explored the characteristics about coping styles of different situations, designed a path model about stressor-coping styles, and carried out the psychology intervene research. The results showed that: (1) The three self-design scales are of high reliability and fair validity and could be used to assess levels of mental stress and the features of coping styles. (2) The main stressors were feature stress, competition and train stress, injured and sicken stress, family and eldership stress, study stress, interpersonal relationship stress and daily life stress. There were significant gender difference, age difference, sport level difference, culture degree difference and sport item difference in psychology stress. (3) Keeping happy was main coping style of common stress for high-level athletes, then seeking support , initiative, forbearing, denying and escaping. There were significant gender difference, age difference, sport level difference, culture degree difference and sport item difference in coping styles of high-level athletes. (4) High-level athletes used different coping styles in different stressor situations: forbearing, initiative and seeking support in feature stress; denying and escaping in study stress; seeking support in injured and sicken stress; initiative, forbearing, denying and escaping, denying and escaping in daily life stress; seeking support, forbearing in competition and train stress; seeking support, denying and escaping in family and eldership stress; keeping happy, seeking support in interpersonal relationship stress. (5) By Cognitive-behavior psychology intervene, The mental stress level of intervene group is significantly lower than before, negative coping styles were used significantly fewer than before, positive coping styles were used significantly much than before, coping efficiency is significantly increased than before. We considered that the stressor-coping styles path model approved the coping situation theory, provide the new point of view of coping theory. In order to reduce the mental stress level and advance the coping skill of high-level athletes, it is necessary to push the popularization of cognitive-behavior psychology intervention .
