Research On Jia Bu-wei's Studies Of Astronomical Work

Through the research and collating of the relevant historical documents of Jia bu-wei who was an astronomers and a mathematics in the King-Nan Arsenal. Author attempt to show the life and contribution of Jia bu-wei who was a scholar in late Qing dynasty, reflect the true state of research and the circumstance of Westernization Movement.This paper is divided into five parts: The introduction section introduces Jia bu-wei life experience, Sorting summary the predecessor's research and expounds the research articles on Jia bu-wei's thoughts and academic work.The second part consolidation on Jia bu-wei direct and indirect historical data, through the analysis and comparison of Jia bu-wei some controversial or no fixed time demonstrated, and draw a conclusion.The third and the fourth part is Jia bu-wei academic work, including Jia bu-wei into King-Nan Arsenal early conducted through and calculate catalogs work.
