In the period of Wei, Chin and the South and North Dynasties during which the Confucian ethical code declines and social unrest emerges, women's personal freedom and thoughts have been liberated to some degrees, as well as the improvement of self-awareness, which is mainly manifested in the following three aspects: first,Due to the flourish of family education, women of upper-side got more chance to be educated. In the family, women educated their children; Secondly, in the pursuit of propriety, women had more courage to pursue the one she really favorites and seek for a more equal spousal relationship. Based on this, women's jealousness highlighted with various brutal means,even cruel husband henpecked situation more. Again, in social activities, women presided housework; participated in social activities, playing a very important role in dealing with the family relationship. Meanwhile, in the royal family, the emperor's wives frequently took part in politics, even intervened with it, among which the wives of Northern Dynasty exerted more influence on the political situation than those of Southern Dynasty. In order to restrain the power of emperor's wives and their relatives, the system of Put the son killed mother is put into practice.The remarry of widows and devoiced women from all walks of life became very common. There were also women's participation in the areas of culture and art, ritual of the religion and other festival activities. Women of Wei, Chin and the South and North Dynasties are brilliant existence in ancient women history that made outstanding contribution to the construction of Chinese ancient cultural undertakings.
