Uxin Banner is located in the backland of Mao Wusu desert in the west of Inner Mongolia,which is an autonomous banner of Mongolian and is subject to Erdos city.In the history,many national minorities,such as Xiongnu,Xianbei,Dangxiang and Mongolian etc.,ever successively lived and multiplied on this land,to collectively creat developed ancient civilization of Chinese north.At the moment when the surrounding Mongolian-Han national culture are in process of acculturation day by day, Mongolian ancient sacrifice culture still are being inheritied and developed,such as ovoo fete, Nadam fair,traditional etiquettes and customs,which constructed important content of Mongolian culture and life together,and the cultural tradition of music is also therein concentrated to reflect.The liturgical music,is the general appellation,by which the writer describes the music form within local folk activities which is presented for long date,including various of Mongolian music, like the short tone and long tone od Erdos,song and horse head string instrument etc With the social and cultural vicissitudes of traditional festival activities,the form contents of liturgical music also change quietly.Based on the theory of regional music of ethnomusicology view,from the historical cultural ecology of Uxin Banner,main performance field of current Mongolian musical culture,sound landscape analysis in the field and relevant culture explanation etc.the article makes the study for regional music.The writer studies through three different folk activities,from Mongolian music sacrifice of ovoo fete,musical culture ceremony of Nadam fair,folk songs feast of warm room custom,to summarize the existence status of liturgical music of Uxin Banner at present.Through the living sample analysis to the sound from the field,it describes the musical feature to show that, The liturgical music is the important part in the folk and liturgical activities of Mongolia,is the interacted appearance between sacred and profane,is the unique sound landscape of the desert.It not only undertakes the collective memory which are approved by nation group,but is the cultural symbols of musical national character.The article applies the writing way with musical ethnography and builds the research result combining theory with practice,based on field description and related references.
