Anthropology focused on universality and particularity of culture,and also analyze the formation of the cultural particularity.“The Silver Nadam Fair” is a creative form of traditional Mongolian Nadam Fair.To make a research on the culture of Silver Nadam is not only beneficial for people to understand the prairie culture of Nadam and its essence,but also beneficial to understand local people's innovation ability.At the same time,it also provides a new perspective for people to know the changes,protection and inheritance of the contemporary traditional culture,The paper makes a comprehensive and systematic elaboration and analysis on the culture of Silver Nadam Fair in West Ujimqin from the perspective of cultural anthropology by adopting the research methods of combining the field investigation and literature research.The thesis firstly introduces the fieldwork site,and elaborates the general situation of traditional Nadam.Secondly,it expounds and analyses the origin,organizational forms and activity contents of the Silver Nadam.Finally,the chief characteristics and social cultural functions of silver Nadam are expounded.The author's points of view are as follows:The formation of Silver Nadam Fair is closely related to its regional natural environment,production methods,life style and economic development.This regional cultural phenomenon is one of the forms of cultural diversity.With the development and changes of social culture,the Silver Nadam Fair is not only an innovation in the form of activity,also it is a modern kind of development of connotation of the traditional culture.The Silver Nadam Fair is the combinatiaon and ice and snow resources,the combination of inheritance and innovation,diverse content richness and possession of certain social and cultural functions.The Silver Nadam has the functions of cultural identity,cultural inheritance and transmission,and the promotion of regional economic development.The innovative points of the thesis:The innovation of this paper rest with it can enrich the contents of cultural research on Nadam Fair.At the same time,it can provide a docamentation for antheropological studies at the present situation of there is no monograohic study on the silver Nadam Fair among culcural studies on Nadam Fair.
