This paper analyzed such an art style which based on the concept of Samagoddess Sama folk beliefs from a cultural criticism perspective and made aninterdisciplinary theoretical research of art anthropology. The basic idea is asfollows:(1)Based on the "ancient art and ceremony" theory, this paper madean ethnographic description on the art style which is constituted by actions anddiscourse level of Sama sacrificial ceremony in order to examine the existingform and vitality of Sama culture.(2)With "cultural criticism" theory, thispaper analyzed traditional art styles that Sama culture is as the idea foundationand researched the multi-channel selection and change during the process ofinheritance.(3)This paper studied the traditional art style with primordialcharacteristics and concluded that in the sense of "appealing to tradition" and"creating tradition", traditional art style played a role of creation. Researchconclusion is that Sama culture and Sama goddess which has the meaning ofhuman civilization and which is the mother of the myriad things profoundlyaffects the civilization process of the Dongs'traditional society on "bothcultural and social basis". Therefore, discussed the creative transformation ofSama culture in the modern context has positive significance for excavatingdiversity of human"cultural gene"and their potential regeneration.
