Laotzu is the most famous classic of Taoism school and Taoism in China,also known as Tao Te Ching. It contains plenty of philosophical thinkings although it only has a little more than 5,000 words. Because it takes a very important position in Chinese ideology and culture, so Laotzu is considered as the founder of Taoism school.On the other way it has an important position in the world history of ideas. It tells people how to follow the way of life, society, and universe with its unique wisdom. Many words in it relates to the central issues of Business Management at the same time, which needs us to keep on excavating and researching. The thesis is based on the methodology of historical materialism and on the basis of results of ancient and modern research. It uses the methods of comparative analysis and systems analysis to investigate the management thoughts. By discussing his management thought,the purpose of this paper is to give direction and quotability to Business Management. It can be divided into five parts:1. The management principles of natural inaction. From the aspects of"Taoism Follows Nature"and"inaction are all", discussing the management principles of inaction.2. The management strategy of natural inaction. From the aspects of"The Taoist path is formless"and"Diversified Trap", discussing the management strategy of inaction3. Art for leaders to coordinate subordinates. Discussing the management methods in Laotzu, mainly from the aspects of effective communication, killing with kindness and conversion.4. The inner quality of managers. Summarizing the quality of the managers which is involved in Laotzu. 5. Concluding remarks.
