Since reform and opening-up, under the influence of economic globalization and English globalization, as one of the international language–English that a large number of its words not only came into contemporary Chinese language, but also had a profound impact on linguist and culture of the contemporary Chinese language. The impacts of English on Chinese language include many aspects. This paper focuses on the aspect of acceptation and to explore its influence on contemporary Chinese language. This essay takes a combination of quantitative analysis method and qualitative analysis method, bases on this method; we also use modern theory of English–Chinese translation ,and have a deeply analysis on the influence of English on the meaning of the modern Chinese language by description,induction,comparison,analysis and other method . Through research and analysis on the three aspects of acceptation–lexical meaning,colorific meaning and grammatical meaning, we find that English have profound impact on these aspects ,and the impact of lexical meaning is the large rest among these aspects. The impact of colorific meaning is smaller and the impact of grammatical meaning is the smallest. We also find the influence of English on lexical meaning,colorific meaning and grammatical meaning that shows a mutual-cross phenomenon.
