There are two relatively independent parts in the thesis: one is " Zi-shan and Beichao Culture";the other is "My humble opinion of XU YU form'". From this reason, I name the thesis "Two Comments on Zi-shan"."Zi-shan and Beichao Culture" will be discussed on the cultural reasons of Zi-shan's creating style in his later time of life. There are two sections in this part- There will appear the subject and object reasons that Zi-shan received the Beichao culture in order to demonstrate the fact that Zi-shan was deeply and thoroughly influenced by Beichao culture; Zi-shan studied according to the style of north of Huanghe river, so he must have learnt the academic works. Zi-shan enjoyed the style of quiet, desolation which is analogous to Beichao"s culture; He had no prejudice on the works of Beichao's literati, So he didn's avoid Beichao's literati's naivete and unskill; e was a blunt man, so he could enjoy the works of Beichao very much; Zi -shan cooperated with the government of Beizhou, so he could deepen consciously the understanding of Beichao "s culture. He traveled around the cultural district of Beichao, which objectly produced the fact that he reciepted Beichao 's culture deeply. The second part deals with the influence of the Bei Dynasty Culture upon Zishan 's writing style, and discusses why the forms of Zishan 'sverses are thoroughly different in the earlier and the later stage of his writing The discussions are made in the following aspects: the literary and artistic styles of Bei dynasty peple' life style in the Bei Dynasty; Bei Dynasty's social psychology and the features lyricness in the literature Bei Dynasty; the back-to-the-ancients Movement in Beizhou peiod and the verse style in Bei Dynasty. In the author 's opinion, the later works of Zishan are trenchant and unconstrained in style, and that should be owed to the artistic and life styles which influenced Zi shan'aesthetic standards. Two of Zishan's verses, " Xiao Yuan" and "Ai Jiang Nan" , show his response to the call of the back-to-the-ancients Movement. The reasons of the great change in Zishan 's verse style after he came to the North is not in the verse 2itselef. Even if his experence had not been so bitter, it was still inevitable that most of Zishan "s later works were of grief. Zishan conveyed a stong sense of lyricness in his later verses. It is partly due to freedom of thought and the common characteristics in the literature of Bei Dynasty. In the discussion ,the author keeps in making these comparisons in terms of synchronization: the conparion bettween Zishan and his contemporaries, and that between the Southern and Northern cultures. The aim of Chu Yiis to discuss the original meaning of the term" Xu Yu form" and the changing in its meaning, thus to identify the proper of Zishan and Xu Xiao-mu in the literary history. The author considers that the three aspects. The first*the records in Zhou Shu, Legend of Yu Xin (" the verses of these two are both gorgeous in style, so people named this style as Xu Yu form'7') ,the cecond the gorgeousness in the works of xu and Yu was unique in the time they lived;the third, when the ternV'Xu Yu form" began to emerge, Zishan had not made too much contribution to the verse style. Since the Qing Dynasty, as the great development of Pianwen style. In the Minguo period, the term " Xu Yu form" was naturally given a completely new meaning. It can be said that another term of "Xu Yu form" has been created. It will be unappropriate and unnecessary for us if we still consult the records obout " Xu Yu form", The works with the style of (later)" Xu Yu form" are both exquisite and simple in style. The exquisiteness and simplicity has remained the highest level in the literary history. For that there neveris a general definite for"Xu Xin form" , it cannot be considered as one kind of "style". So, we must not take" Yu Xin form" and "Xu Yu form" as the same, In regard to the variety of sentences'style of Pianwen, Zishan was supirior to Xiao mu.In the discussion, the a...
