The Pilot Study Of Silongkou Kiln

Silongkou ldln set uP in the late period of Tang dynasty and broke uPin the early period of southem Song. It is an imPortan site of Yue ldlnand belongs to the area of Shanglinhu.This thesis uses the methods of tyPology to put the excavated thingsin order on the basis of occuPying the new excavated materials especiallythose which were unearthed by the author in 1999.And they are dividedfive periods: the first period is from A.D.847 to 907,the second is fromA.D.907 to 960,the third is from A.D.960 to 1022,the forth is from A.D.1023 to ll27,the fiffo is from A.D. 1l27 to l162.Then the thesissummedzes the decorations by stages and discusses the imPota statUsof Silongkou kiln in the study of Yue kiln.
