The traditional Chinese culture is profound with long history. Among Chinesecultures, the dragon, with closely linking to the national culture and history, is a uniqueart in China, and the most widely circulated, the greatest impact of dragon culture hasbeen formed. The dragon, the soul as a totem of the Chinese nation, the traditionalsymbol of the great ancient Chinese nation. The dragon is the symbol of the cohesion ofthe Chinese nation; it has been given the noble image of the eternal vitality in people’sminds, turning it into a God that is all-mighty. The image of dragon also penetrates intothe various dimensions of social life, the splendid beauty, entrusted with the ideals andspirit of the people, becoming the implication of rich cultural symbols and inseparableemotions, formed a very rich and valuable national cultural heritage.In the long history, there has been a variety of dragon shapes to show the differentperiods of national cultural identity. The Heilongjiang River valley, the source ofChinese civilization, is one of the important birthplaces of the Chinese nation. The vastearth accumulated the "Culture of the Jurchens in Jin Dynasty ". A Cheng inHeilongjiang, Kyoto City Ruins, preserved the valuable culture of the Jurchens in JinDynasty, the Jin Dynasty unearthed China’s earliest Seated Bronze Dragon ", called therepresentative of the" Culture Jin Dynasty ". After years of vicissitudes, retained in theLongjiang earth, embodied the wisdom of ancestors, and it is the accumulation of theessence of different historical era, precipitated the ethnic and geographicalcharacteristics, forming the foundation of the culture of the Northern peoples and theendless Longjiang earth. The dragon is a symbol of the descendants of Yan and Huang,it is the totem of the Chinese nation, and dragon is also the worship of primitivereligious beliefs, as well as the symbol of imperial rights. The appearance of the seateddragon not only showed the integration of the northern national culture, but alsoreflected the" Inclusive "and" Harmonious" spirit of the dragon culture. In this paper, the study and analysis is based on the "Seated Bronze Dragon" in JinDynasty, by analyzing and summarizing the impact of "Seated Bronze Dragon" andits the level of development of productive forces, politics, religion, cultural and aestheticideas in that era, and to compare and analyze the shape and ornamentation of the dragonin different historical periods; Secondly, combined with specific examples, the study ofthe richness and cultural implication of the dragon-shaped pattern is also carried out. Inthe comparative analysis, the shape characteristics of seated copper dragon, decorationstyle and the causes of in-depth discussion of the traditional dragon-shaped decorationin the aesthetic experience and aesthetic values of different historical periods have beenmade, and this will promote and innovate the meaningful exploration of the inheritanceof traditional decorative culture The innovation of this paper is, besides the study of thedragon culture, the comparative study of the dragon decoration style, arts and culture, aswell as different historical periods and ethnic, cultural, and historical aspects of thesignificant impact between "Seated Dragon" and "Riding Dragon", and this will enrichthe historical and national culture; Finally, we discussed the dragon-shaped decorationand modern life, traditional dragon-shaped decorative elements are closely integratedwith modern design and traditional heritage, to create a design with Chinesecharacteristics, while the nation belongs to the world, the dragon-shaped decorativeelements have been injected into the international design show with our traditionaleastern and modern cultural characteristics, it is its unique charm to play an importantrole in promoting social progress. Study of "Seated Dragon" of the Jurchens in JinDynasty is also a development and exploration of the Heilongjiang traditional culture.
