Study on Wang Xinjing' s Philosophical thoughtsHe HongxiaAbstract This paper, on the basis of sorting out and through study of Wang Xinjing's literature, employs the principle and method of the unity of history and logic. Standing on the background of transformation from study of New-Confucianism in Song and Ming dynasties to that of Confucian Classics in Qing dynasty, the author dissects the formation of Wang Xinjing's philosophical thoughts and it's features from vertical point and transverse point. From vertical point of view, as successor of Guan school ,Wang Xinjing not only retains the style of advocating ritual and attaching importance to reality which began with Zhang Zai, but also reflects the tendency of Heart thought of Guan school in Ming dynasty. Moreover, being influenced by ideological trend of reality theory of the south of the Changjiang River in earlier Qing dynasty, it makes Wang Xinjing's philosophical thoughts have many characters. From transverse section point of view ,confronting a series of significant change on politics, economics and culture, Wang Xinjing not only remains the repercussions of New-Confucianism, but also possesses the tendency of demonstration and textual research and practicality. To sum up, the author believe that Wang Xinjing's philosophical thoughts will be recognized by more people through the study of this paper, and it may push the research of GuanZhong area's academic in earlier Qing dynasty forward.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part sets forth the intellectual origins and the social and historical background of Wang Xinjing's thoughts from different points of view. It can be found that Wang Xinjing's philosophical thoughts have multiple characters. Secondly, the paper mainly discusses Wang Xinjing's philosophical thoughts of Knowing, Loving and Becoming Best in detail. It can be divided into three aspects, the ontology of the unity of man and heaven, the theory of moral training and the theory of reality. These three aspects are immanently interrelated. The third part talks about Wang Xinjing's Yi-school thought of Repenting and Being Good by Yi.Through study, the author considers that Wang Xinjing's thoughts are quite rich.Besides above, Wang Xinjing has its original sight on many aspects, such as theory of knowledge, conception of history, etc. Otherwise, Wang Xinjing's noble personality and its firm aspiration should be admired by people, that would be further researched.
