The purpose of this text is to observe the relation between the "May 4th" new-literature and the publishing business and to describe the interactive effect on the two from the relation between intergrowth and interchange.The full text is guided the theory, text. Conclude the speech.the publishing business participated in the course of modern transformation of Chinese literature and had much positive effect on it from the beginning. Having involved into the literary course, the publishing business changed the way of production and propagation of literature. It also turned the ideology of literature into the material form. Thanks to the influence of the publishing business, the influence of author and reader transformed into modern direction potentially. The people literature had already manifested a lot of modernity characteristics for the first time of the latter stage of Qing Dynasty. And because of this, the new styles and features of literature emerged with an unprecedented innovative strength and open posture.Relying on its rich material strength and effective propagational way, the publishing business had urged the mergence and the plural development of the "may 4th" new -vernacular literature. During this period, the publishing business became the stage where people created their new-vernacular literature and new writers expressed their thinks. The publishing business also fostered a group of readers and anthors. At the same time, the diffusion of new literary conception and the increase of groups of author and reader developed the literary market and offered rich reciprocation for the publishing business, too. On the other hand, because of its commercial nature, thepublishing business showed some negative effect during the course in which the "May 4th "new -vernacular literature, happened and developed.In short, the interactive relation between the publishing business and "May 4th"new-vernacular literature favoured the sound development of the two side.
