This in fact took the effect of breaking superstitions and advocating science.Cheng Xiaoqing analyzed the criminality origin from the view of "ethics". "Justice" here is not the justice in the meaning of law but of ethics. Cheng Xiaoqing actually realized the criticism and subverting of the laws and system in that time. Showing sympathy for such "justice punishment" makes his novels overflowing humanitarianism. Cheng Xiaoqing expressed a kind of pessimistic or even a desperate mood to the existing legislation system. As his humanitarianism points to the fact of greed expansion and disorder, it is still a kind of criticism.Concerning on the art techniques, Cheng Xiaoqing's detective stories is well organized. First, the plot is complicated. Second, the correlation is natural , and the reader involvement piles up. Third, hints of the novels are ingenious.
