On "The Culture" Conception In Culture Philosophy

Culture philosophy, as a kind of the new theories, has gained a certain academic achievements with the common study of scholars. However, there are no certain conclusions about the fundamental conceptions and theories as well, which will perhaps hamper to further the fundamental research in cultural philosophy. The article tries to analyze "the culture"-the core conception of culture philosophy, making a little fundamental research in it. First of all, the article demonstrates the thinking direction of culture philosophy on the basis of reason of the culture philosophy booming. Second, the article gives a definition of the "culture" from the angle of culture philosophy on the base of various definitions of culture with a critical view. By culture it means the activities of human being practice and the standard of "humanization" of humans on nature, society, and human being themselves reflected in the means and achievements of the activities. At last, the article disclose the peculiar research angle of the culture philosophy: the explanation of "culture" with "humanities" as well as explanation of "humanities" with "culture".
