The Research Of Zhu Qian-zhi's Cultural Philosophy

Zhu Qianzhi is "an encyclopedic thinker" in the field of the modern history of China thinking .This paper mainly focuses on the book—"Philosophy of Culture", which was written by Zhu Qianzhi and analyzes his cultural philosophy thinking . In this paper, the author thinks that Zhu Qianzhi was deeply influenced, during construction his cultural philosophy, by the theories of Confucian culture, Hegel, Bergson, Comte and other culture philosopher. To save the national crisis and achieve rejuvenation of culture, Zhu Qianzhi actively advocated the "Southern Culture Movement", and presented his cultural philosophy, with a view to saving his country through saving the culture. Zhu Qianzhi divided culture into eight types or developing stages. From the evolution of knowledge, it was evolution of four types of religious culture, philosophy culture, scientific cultural and artistic culture; From the evolution of the society, it was evolution of four categories of political culture, law culture, economic culture and educational culture. Religious culture was represented by India. Scientific culture was represented by Europe, while philosophy culture was represented by China. This Chinese culture owed of philosophical nature was the hope of world future culture. The cultural philosophy of the Zhu Qianzhi straightened out Chinese culture in the position of world cultural relations, and handled the relations of the cultural nationalism and times more precise. Compared to contemporary thinkers, his cultural philosophy theory builded more detailed and more sophisticated. However, due to the limitations of the times and the absence of the guidance of scientific theories, there were many deficiencies and shortcomings or even lack of feasibility of practice in the cultural philosophy of Zhu Qianzhi which caused the overall shadowed by details and no sensation though its sophistication. Nevertheless, we believe that, Zhu Qianzhi construction his cultural philosophy had its indelible historical significance and academic value. It also was of vital significance to construction contemporary philosophy and the building of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.
