A Study On The Characteristics Of Sailor's Attribution And Handling

It is very important for attribution and handling of individuals to adapt to the surroundings, which has become a hot spot in researching of cognitive psychology. Over the late 1990s, Mr. Xiao Jihua, on the basis of handling style questionnaire available to the Chinese people crowds, and since then, the research in this field in China has been developing in full swing and the research based on Weiner's Attribution Theory is also advancing further. The study studies quantitatively the attribution style and handling style of 360 sailors by means of handling style questionnaire made by Mr. Xiao and attribution style survey made by the author, from which we get the findings as follows: There are some differences of education background, sailing years, post and the state of mind of the sailors in attribution styles, there are also some differences of educational background, age, the state of mind and healthy condition of the sailors in handling styles and a certain identity shows between the different handling styles and the different attribution styles. The findings of this study, thus, enriches the knowledge of sailor crowd's psychological characteristics, provides psychology base for cognitive restructuring for sailors' psycho-adjustment and meanwhile reveals the importance of cognition in personality mounding.
