Beauty Of Conflicts

MISHIMA,Yukio, as a cultural individual, lived in the period that Japanese society is drawn into the conflicting between west and east culture. He showed his personality before the Japanese culture and west culture. He absorbed the two kinds of culture at the same time, then there is a conflict between the two kinds of culture in his works. This article will divide five parts to understand the conflict and the conflicting beauty in MISHIMA,Yukio's works with culture criticism, feminist criticism and prototype criticism. Partâ… ,as an introduction to the whole thesis, expresses the models of culture exchange and the kinds of writer's absorbing foreign culture, and described MISHIMA,Yukio's personality before the culture conflict. Part â…¡ described the conflict between Life and death in MISHIMA,Yukio's works. And reveals the culture reason for it. Part â…¢ was against the comments about MISHIMA,Yukio's feminist vision that many critics in our country think MISHIMA,Yukio detested female. This part reveals that MISHIMA,Yukio takes a contradictive view on female, and these come from the conflict between east and west culture. Partâ…£described the conflict between MISHIMA,Yukio's nihilism in his works and the feature of interfering the society. The last part as an summary to the whole thesis, went further into the conflicting beauty's value, and affirmed the conflicting beauty in MISHIMA,Yukio's works which advanced the culture. So this thesis brings forth new forth new ideas and has its value in this sense.
