A Tentative Study Of The Relationship Between Fujian Nan Yin Pipa GongChiPu And Aria

This thesis tries to make an overall illustration of the relationship between NanYin Pipa "ZhiGu" GongChiPu (music score) and Aria (music for voice), analyzing by way of ethnomusicology such aspects as internal unity , distinction , basic rule of RunQiang (polishing the aria), distinctive features of aria ,etc.The first chapter is aimed to discuss the internal unity of NanYin GongChiPu and Aria from three aspects : LiaoPai (metre), melody , and QuanZhou dialect. Aria of NanYin is based on NanYin GongChiPu and they are closely related to each other.The second chapter illustrates the distinction between NanYin GongChiPu and Aria still from the same three aspects. And the author is of the opinion that the essential distinction between NanYin GongChiPu and Aria is that aria is "a second special creation" on the basis of GongChiPu.The third chapter tries to make an illustration of the basic rule of RunQiang . "Yin", "Sai", "Guan", "Zhe" are the basic rule of RunQiang of NanYin Aria . Different Pipa playing fingering means different rule of RunQiang .The forth chapter try to analyze the fact that NanYin Aria , which is based on NanYin GongChiPu, has its extemporality and that individual character , historical character , regional character and times character are major distinctive features embodied by NanYin Aria .
