Realizing And Containing The World Through The Mental Peace And The Blank Sheet--A Study On Sushi's Writing Theory

Based on the relevant writing theories and taking Sushi as a writing subject to start with, this thesis makes and analyses his subjective mental construction and writing theory. The research results shows that: Sushi established the theories of mental peace and blank sheet, under the predominant influence of the Buddhism and the Taoism, and on a foundation of the combination of these two with the Confucianism. Primarily under the guidance of which, theories consciousness- being communication ( beyond being, self-effacement) % linguistic realization of meaning (spiritual alikeness, illocutionary meaning ) and writing styles ( naturalness, plainness ). The purpose of the study is to reveal the significance of Sushi' writing theories especially the theory of mental peace and blank sheet, which contributed a lot to the modern writing theory and inspires the later people's writing, including the literary and nonliterary works. At the same time, the thesis analyzes Sushi's writing theories systematically and give an objective appraisal of his theories.
