Qiuci is a famous state in the Western reign. Thanks to the Buddhism thriving in Qiuci in history, now we are able to find many Buddhist caves here. The caves in Qiuci, which was represented by the kizil caves ,are famous for it's profound content of history and culture, and it has a important position in the field of history and Buddhist art of the Western reign. As a lOOOs-year treasure, these caves included a great deal of noticeable material on nation and culture. From the viewpoint of national culture, this article mainly discussed the expression of many culture in the murals.Gandahara and India is the cradle of Buddhist art. Their idea and artistic form influenced the murals in the caves of Qiuci in the beginning, which made the Buddhist art in Qiuci developing on a higher level .In the period of developing, the foreign culture merged with the local's ,a trend of nationalization and localization can be seen in mural art. In the period of thriving, the Qiuci-art pattern appeared and gave influence on the surrounding. At the same time, the culture of the Turk.,Han, Iran, Tibetan ,Syria also has been depicted in murals; In the period of waning, with the Uygur migrating into Qiuci, no progress has been made in Buddhist murals. The Uygur only rebuilt the old caves, seldom built new caves.In the course of developing, apparently the content of murals in Qiuci concentrate on the Buddhism, however, owing to the multi-nation joining passive or impassive, the artistic form was painted in different way correspondingly. Under the circumstance, a kind of splendid Buddhist art was created in Qiuci.
